Originally trained as a classical viola player, Sara studied music at Cambridge University and played an active part (still does) in the Cambridge Jazz scene, working with some of the countries finest and most original musicians. Sara's exciting, slightly haunting vocal work is highly inventive, yet she delivers her tunes with such aplomb, perfection of pitch and timing that you'd be forgiven for thinking this Jazz singing business is easy! A composer in her own right, Sara brings new life and interpretation to every song she sings and she demonstrates a real appreciation of just what a good jazz singer should do.
